Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, often known as Odumeje, is a controversial pastor from Nigeria who has responded to Davido’s Grammy defeat.
During a sermon, Odumeje clarified that Davido’s notoriety surpasses Grammy honors. He said that the musician is already a blessing to his generation and challenged him to look beyond international prominence.
“Davido, you’re already a generational award awarded with a lot of award. There’s no award that you will receive now that means anything. You have already awarded any award you need. Your life, your steps are awards. Don’t allow any ordinary iron to quench the fire of your joy. What is Grammy, who knows the Grammy. Who Grammy help? Grammy didn’t make us to know Davido. We know you as a good singer and that is why we love you,” he stated.
