We all wish and hope for a beautiful tomorrow, but we never truly know what tomorrow holds until we are face to face with tomorrow.
Learning to walk step by step with the Creator and taking it one moment at a time is the highest point of faith. Perhaps life would appear easier to live if we all had in our hands an incontrovertible script of the future; but then faith would be both dead and futile. It is faith that makes us believe that God has our best interest at heart even when we lack the capacity to understand how. It is faith that makes us hope for a bright tomorrow even when today looks all dark and gloomy.
But the joy is that wherever God finds faith, He deposits His honour. There is no purer joy; there is no greater excitement than to see our night turn into day and our most unpleasant moments into the most pleasing; and all these, by faith.
