Juliet Ibrahim Opens Up On Surviving Domestic Violence

Nollywood actress Juliet Ibrahim has spoken out again about surviving domestic violence in a past relationship.

The Ghanaian actress revealed that she is a victim of domestic violence while participating in a Q&A session with her fans, who said that victims of domestic violence don’t know what to do.

Using herself as an example, Juliet revealed that she chose not to stay, and she fought to get out of the situation, prompting her fans to do the same and be strategic. She advised.

“Walk the hell away girl!! I have been a victim myself, no staying. I fought my way out of situations and one has to be strategic about it as well. And have someone u can trust on the outside to inform and you both plan your escape and exit before it’s too late”.

Domestic Violence is violence committed by someone who is in the domestic circle like partners, ex-partners, other relatives, and family friends. People tend to remain silent on the violence committed by their family members or sometimes society tells them to do so. But that’s not how it should be handled. We should stand against it and take action.

Raising your hand to the powerless is no act of manliness.
