NEMA Provides Relief to Flood Victims in Kano, Distributes Essential Items to 198 Households

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has distributed relief materials to 198 households affected by the 2024 flood disaster in Kano Municipal Federal Constituency. The relief items include food and non-food materials, such as rice, maize, spaghetti, vegetable oil, and construction materials like cement, roofing sheets, and zinc nails.

Relief Distribution Details:

  • Beneficiaries: 198 households in Kano Municipal Federal Constituency, including communities in Kankarofi, Yakasai, Dan’agundi, Shahuchi, and Tudun Nupawa
  • Relief Items: Food items (rice, maize, spaghetti, vegetable oil) and non-food items (cement, roofing sheets, zinc nails)
  • Distribution: Carried out by NEMA’s Kano Territorial Office, with support from the Kano State Emergency Management Agency and the Member of the House of Representatives for the constituency
