Taxi Driver K!lls Woman Before Sleeping With Corpse

A motorcycle taxi driver murdered and dismembered a young woman before interring some of her remains in the garden of a nearby residence.

Esteban Chicche Sullo, 51, abducted 19-year-old Mercedes Sánchez Querevalú, who was reported missing for a week before being found deceased.

The 51-year-old has admitted to killing her, informing police that he “hit her with a stick twice on the head”.

The victim’s mother filed a missing person report after her daughter did not return home.
Mercedes, a mother to a two-year-old girl, departed her home on April 6, 2025, to meet Chicche, who was acquainted with the family. Local media reported that Mercedes’s mother stated Chicche owed her daughter money, which prompted their meeting.

After striking her on the head and rendering her unconscious, Chicche brought the young woman to his residence. He confessed to police that upon arrival, he slept with her before dismembering her body into eight parts, according to NeedToKnow.

Chicche then buried her remains in the courtyard of his neighbor’s property after digging a one-meter deep hole. He accessed the area by climbing a neighboring wall with a ladder, unnoticed as the property is currently vacant.

Police reports indicate he kept the young woman’s body in his room for up to 24 hours, uncertain about how to proceed.

He contemplated discarding her body in a bin but ultimately chose to dismember her in his bathroom, a process estimated to have taken about three hours.

Chicche disposed of Mercedes’ clothing and cell phone and used bleach to clean his residence.

On the morning of April 14, her buried remains were uncovered.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances but suspect Chicche sexually abused Mercedes before killing her as she attempted to flee.

Mercedes’ body was found in San Juan de Lurigancho, in Lima, Peru, after she left her home in Villa María del Triunfo, also in Lima.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
