Watch and pray – Monday Motivation

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation” was Jesus’ timeless admonition to us. It is so easy to get engrossed and carried away with the less essential elements of this life that we lose out on the most vital things; an unbroken relationship with the Creator and a heart set on pleasing the LORD.

Watch and Pray - Monday Motivation

The pursuit of vanity will only multiply vanity, but the man or woman who has found the path of righteousness heaps to himself or herself endless treasures that will never fade away.

Like Gideon’s 300 men, we must drink water (enjoy the good things of life) with our eyes fixed permanently on our divine assignments. We should never take our eyes off the ball nor let our hands go slack in the time of war.

This week, God is calling us out of senseless, aimless and directionless living and unto greater vigilance. And like the men who built alongside Nehemiah, we must build with one hand on our tools and the other on our weapon, lest we be caught off guard by the enemy. Jesus is coming again! So, Watch and pray. Good morning and have a splendid week ahead in Jesus name.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
