Cardinal Onaiyekan has stated that the Nigerian government is aware of the individuals responsible for the ongoing violence and killings in the country.
He emphasized that authorities possess the necessary information to address the security challenges, urging them to take decisive action to ensure justice and peace for all Nigerians
“The Federal Government must shift away from its defensive approach of denying or downplaying allegations of mass k!llings of Nigerians.
“This persistent denial fails to reflect the sentiments of millions who live in perpetual fear and those who have suffered tremendously in the hands of insurgents.
“The government is aware of who is responsible for these k!llings. Instead of fixating on 2027, it should concentrate on ensuring the safety and survival of its citizens,” the cleric said.
