After challenging Pastor Arome Osayi’s assertion that he had visited heaven, veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo sparked discussions.
The actor expressed surprise that some Christians still adhere to the preacher in spite of his assertion, contending that such a claim ought to cause believers to reconsider.
Kanayo used the life of Jesus Christ as an example, pointing out that while Jesus died and ascended into heaven, Pastor Arome is still alive and is said to have made a trip to heaven.
“If you’re a follower of Christ, what happened to Jesus? He died and ascended into heaven. Pastor Arome is still alive and telling you people that he went to heaven, and then his members are there clapping. Many are going to hell with their eyes open,” Kanayo said.
Ultimately, Pastor Arome Osayi’s testimony may be genuine, but each person must decide what to believe. I feel it is a personal matter, and he should be allowed to share his experience without facing harsh criticism.
