After God My Loyalty Lies With Tinubu – Umahi

Senator David Umahi, the Minister of Works, has declared that his allegiance is primarily to God and President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that he follows directives solely from them.

Umahi shared this statement with journalists in Abakaliki, after receiving recent praise from President Tinubu for his accomplishments in infrastructure development.

The minister described the president’s commendation as priceless, valuing it more than material wealth. “The commendation was worth more than one trillion dollars to me as it shows I am on the right track and that God answers prayers,” he said.

“I have told the president even publicly that my loyalty is to God first and then, him. When a man gives you the type of trust Tinubu has given me, you will be of the devil to betray him,” Umahi stated.

He cautioned that anyone who betrays such trust would face divine repercussions.

“Anyone who betrays Tinubu after receiving such level of trust and support would incur the wrath of God,” he said.

Umahi highlighted the extent of confidence the president has placed in him, referencing an instance of significant procurement without interference from the president.

“Have you seen where a man presided over the procurement of a project worth N1.6 trillion and his boss did not call him to ask how he went about it? I am talking about one section of the project depending on the length.”

He added, “I pray every day that if I place myself, family and friends over God, Tinubu and Nigerians, let Him not answer me.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
