Armed Robbers Begin Killing Themselves In The Middle Of An Operation

During a robbery operation, two thieves were murdered by their partners when a fight broke out among the perpetrators.

The incident had occurred at a famous resort in Rukenya, near Kutus town in Kirinyaga County, Kenya.

This happened around 3 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, when about nine armed men jumped over the gate of Thiba Falls Resort, stripped the guard naked, and tied him up, according to the report.

They then smashed into the bar and began drinking before loading some of the drinks into a vehicle parked outside the resort.

Suddenly, a fight broke between the gang members and they began attacking each other with lethal weapons.

When Paul Kigundu, the owner of the firm, was notified of the event, he came soon after 7 a.m.

He said, “When I arrived, I found police officers already at the scene staring at the two bloody stained bodies which were lying apart within the parking bay. There were also many broken bottles that the robbers must have used to fight each other in the middle of the operation.”

Varieties of dangerous weaponry were also discovered across the road. Gichugu East Sub-County Police Commander, Antony Mbogo, who came at the scene as well, refused to speak to the press, claiming that his superiors were also present, trying to put together available data before coming to a decision about what happened.

Bystanders flocked to the area, trying to catch a glimpse of the bodies, which were still lying there by 9 a.m.

While those who escaped were being pursued, the remains were removed from the scene and transferred to Kerugoya Level 4 hospital mortuary so that police could obtain their fingerprints and confirm their identities.
