True friendship is rare and only a few truly wants us other than for what they can get out of us. True friends stick around even when we no longer have anything to offer them.

To them, our company is worth more than our gold or silver. And to serve us, not to be served by us is the one reason they never leave. They feel hollow without us, not necessarily because they need us but because they have come to know that their life’s mission is never complete without them playing their God-given roles in our lives.

This week, God wants us to seek out such persons as have stuck around us, not for what we do for them but for what they do for us and just be grateful. As little as a ‘thank you note’ may be all that is required to let them know we truly value their friendship. Good morning and have a great week ahead.
