Blind Trust – Monday Motivation

Trust is a very vital ingredient in friendship. The strength of any relationship is measured by the level of trust that exists between the parties involved. The more we trust each other, the more our relationships blossom, and the happier we become.

In our walk with God, God expects our trust in Him to be absolute, not near absolute. We are enjoined to trust in the LORD with all our heart and to lean not on our own understanding. Such a level of trust requires that we trust Him even if doing so doesn’t seem to make sense. It entails that we resign to God as our only true guide and dependable compass to navigate life. This we do, knowing that we can never go wrong when He leads the way. Our greatest peace derives from the deep conviction that God has our best interest at heart, not some of the time but all of the time.

This is blind trust, and it is the highest form of devotion to God. This week, God wants you to trust Him blindly. He wants you to live each day maintaining in your subconscious, an undwindling attitude of absolute submission and a mental “hands up” to The Creator.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
