The COVID-19 epidemic, according to the minister, had a substantial impact on the country’s economy in 2020.

In the first quarters of 2021, she stated that the economy showed a sluggish rebound.

Replying to the minister, Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives said that once they have the 2022 Appropriations Bill, it would start debating on it.

According to him, “The MTEF/FSP will have a direct impact on the content of that Appropriations Bill, as well as on our ability to deliver on the promises of governance and development that we have made to the Nigerian people.”
