#EndSARS: Non-profit Organization Promises To Dig Into Incident Until A Reasonable Conclusion

#EndSARS: Non-profit Organization Promises To Dig Into Incident Until A Reasonable Conclusion

As different findings and explanations to the killings of armless protesters during the #EndSARS continue to surface, particularly at the Lekki Tollgate, Nigerians have shown dissatisfaction to most as many don’t find it logical and believe that some details might be covered up in favor of the government.

A non-profit organization, One Love Foundation, OLF, has decided to investigate the matter.

On Wednesday, the non-profit organization committed to pushing the #EndSARS killings investigation until a reasonable explanation was achieved.

Chief Patrick Eholor, the founder of the OLF, stated this through his legal representative, Samuel Ihensekhien Jnr, in which he stated that the #EndSARS Panel report on the killing of armless protesters at Lekki Tollgate indicting the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force, and other State actors will not be swept under the carpet.

He said: ” The last has not been heard of the Lagos State #EndSARS Panel report on Lekki Tollgate killings of innocent protesters by the now-indicted Nigerian Army and Nigerian Police personnel, and other State actors.

“As the ECOWAS Court on 3rd December 2021, has served on the Federal Republic of Nigeria notice of registration of the suit filed by Patrick Eholor against the Federal Government, seeking reparation in billions of Dollars and Naira for every one killed by the Nigerian security agencies and as clearly stated in the now compromised Lagos State #EndSARS Panel on Lekki Tollgate killings.

“If the Lagos State Government thinks #EndSARS Panel report will be discarded and thrown to the dustbin, they better have a rethink in this regard, as this case is just a prelude and first step in getting reparation for victims of the Lekki Tollgate killings.

“By January 2022, when the ECOWAS Court sits on this case, the legal team will make sure the above case is pursued to its logical conclusion.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
