For how long would you continue to carry the burden of life all alone? – Monday Perspective

This is the week of Christmas; and not a few rightly believe that it is a season to give love and show kindness. But beyond just showing love to others, God wants us to accept love too. He wants us to humbly and gladly accept help when one is offered us with no strings attached.

For how long would you continue to carry the burden of life all alone? For how long would you continue to try to fix it all by yourself and so constantly turn your back on the help God is offering you either directly or through others.

To the one whose load is becoming unbearable and yoke uneasy, God wants you to resign from self-effort and look in His direction for help. If God gave us His best gift at Christmas, we can be certain that no good thing will He withhold from us this season. But there is only a thin line between pride and a will that is hard set on not bothering other people even when we know we desperately need them. The hall mark of humility is seeking the help of those that are seemingly beneath us in the ladder of life when we have to.

Thank God it is Monday. Good morning and have a week full of laughter and uncommon help from above. Merry Christmas to you all.
