Hamas Claims Flood-Proof Tunnel System As Israel Plan Flood Attack

Terrorists from Hamas have stated that their tunnel system is built to withstand flooding because the underground network is flood-proof.

This comes after Israel constructed a system of massive pumps to flood seawater into Hamas’ sophisticated network of tunnels beneath the Gaza Strip.

“The tunnels were built by well-trained and educated engineers who considered all possible attacks from the occupation, including pumping water,” said Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan.

He went on to say that negotiations for the release of other Israeli hostages can only begin if the IDF completely ceases fighting in Gaza.

The announcement came as Israeli officials acknowledged that their troops had retrieved three more bodies of hostages kidnapped by Hamas in their October 7 attacks.

Elia Toledano, 28, Cpl. Nik Beizer, 19, and Sgt. Ron Sherman, 19, were identified as the victims.

Toledano, a French-Israeli, was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

He was one of an estimated 240 persons kidnapped by Hamas during the country’s bloodiest strikes in its history.

Toledano was visiting the Nova music festival with friend and fellow French-Israeli Mia Schem, who was released at the end of November under a peace arrangement.

The IDF confirmed Toledano’s death, which was corroborated by medical officials, military rabbis, and the Institute of Forensic Medicine, and French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna expressed deep regret.

“We share the grief of his family and loved ones. The release of all hostages is our priority,” she wrote on X.

The Israeli military claims that 132 of the hostages transferred to Gaza are still being detained.

According to a source, the Israeli military began pumping seawater into Hamas’ network of tunnels across the Gaza Strip for the first time earlier this week in an effort to flush the terrorists out of their underground refuge.

Israel is alleged to have placed at least five pumps about a mile north of the Al-Shati refugee camp that can flow thousands of cubic metres of water each hour, flooding 300 miles of tunnels.

When asked about the claim, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi appeared to confirm it, telling a press conference that tunnels are being built using water pumps.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
