According to a leaked conversation, Kanye West asked one of his ‘Donda’ engineers to “find God” after firing him through the text.

DJ Academics shared a screenshot on September 7 which purportedly shows an exchange between Kanye West and an unnamed engineer. Academics said the engineer’s conversations were leaked after the iCloud was hacked.

The message begins with West sending the engineer a message at 9.34 a.m.: “Good morning. Let’s get to work.” Nearly two hours pass without a response, at which point it appears that it reads: “You’ve been fired. Go home.”

West is allegedly texting then replies: “I’m really sorry. I have no excuse. I set the alarm for 7:30 a.m. and for whatever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me I woke up at 11:08 for a missed call and got dressed as soon as possible. Lou was already on his way to get the boogaz and they just came here. I didn’t call right away because I was in a panic and looking for a ride Was trying to. I know it’s unacceptable. I’m sorry.”

Kanye respond: “Stop texting. Go find God.”

Producer Mike Dean recently discussed his experience working with West on “Donda.”

Dean described the process as “gruesome” in a new interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music. “It was interesting. It was grueling, a lot of hours, a lot of changes. It turned out great though,” he said.

“Kanye had three listening parties. So each listening side was like a test, one of a kind. And after each one, I think he wanted… I wouldn’t talk much about his process. can.

“He took all the information he got from everyone, including online reviews, reviews from personal friends, and he just wanted to digest it and adjust the album the way he wanted.”

Dean said that he was also at shows listening to ‘Donda’, playing the DJ on top of the stage and “[looking] How the crowd moved towards different songs”.

Kanye is yet to react to this claim.
