Netflix Squid Game Actors Become Gucci’s New Global Ambassadors

Congratulations to South Korean actors; Lee Jung-Jae and Shin Mina as they join the list of Gucci’s latest global ambassadors.

The Italian luxury fashion house announced on November 11 that popular South Korean actors Lee and Shin, who both recently appeared on the successful Netflix show ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Hometown cha-cha-cha’ respectively, as the
brand’s newest global ambassador.

Gucci also unveiled a series of photos of the two stars in Gucci ensembles, sharing their declaration of support for Shin on social media.

“Here, the actress appears in a series of images, wearing key pieces of [the Gucci Aria collection],” the caption read. The collection was designed by Alessandro Michele, Creative Director of the fashion house.

Gucci shares the reason for appointing Shin as a global ambassador in a separate statement, writing that “her refined and unequaled style and her belief in the pursuit of diversity and respect for self-expression paralleled Gucci’s philosophy.”

Starring alongside Lee Byung-hun, Kim Woo-bin, Han Ji-min, and more, our sad will be premiered sometime in 2022.
