A kissing moment between Nollywood actor Etim Effiong and actress Bolaji Ogunmola went viral on social media, and since then, internet users have been constantly harassing the actor.
The poster insisted that “no one in Nollywood kisses better than these two” in a tweet that initially featured the video and praised the pair’s on-screen chemistry.
However, the subsequent remarks swiftly escalated the discussion into a heated argument around marriage, limits, and Nollywood romance roles.
Despite being married, some fans questioned why Etim appears in more kissing scenes than even single actors, accusing him of playing “too many” love parts.

Another X user took it even further, claiming Etim’s wife has “valid reasons to crash out,” while others insisted that no spouse would be comfortable watching their partner kiss this passionately on camera.
Not everyone agreed, though. A few users defended the actor, reminding critics that it’s literally his job. One commenter wrote: “You people know this kiss is strictly between the characters, right? It’s called acting for a reason.”
