Prince Harry Claims Marijuana Helped Him In Overcoming Trauma

Prince Harry of Britain claimed that using some medicines including Marijuana “truly” helped him mentally after having attention deficit disorder identified by a trauma specialist (ADD).

Harry acknowledged using drugs frequently in his contentious autobiography Spare and detailed how he used marijuana in 2015 while residing in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

He conducted a live interview with Dr. Gabor Mate on Saturday, discussing his use of cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol among other things. Dr. Mate is the author of The Myth Of Normal: Trauma, Illness & Healing In A Toxic Culture.

John said: “[Cocaine] didn’t do anything for me, it was more a social thing and gave me a sense of belonging for sure, I think it probably also made me feel different to the way I was feeling, which was kind of the point.

“Marijuana is different, that actually really did help me.”

Harry also mentioned having used psychedelics like ayahuasca.

He continued: “It was the cleaning of the windscreen, cleaning of the windshield, the removal of life’s filters just as much as on Instagram, these layers of filters.

“It removed it all for me and brought me a sense of relaxation, release, comfort, a lightness that I managed to hold on to for a period of time.

“I started doing it recreationally and then started to realize how good it was for me, I would say it is one of the fundamental parts of my life that changed me and helped me deal with the traumas and pains of the past.”

Harry also discussed his mother’s passing, Diana, Princess of Wales, who passed away in a vehicle accident in Paris in 1997 when the duke was only 12 years old.

“Reading the book, I diagnose you with ADD,” Dr. Mate informed him. I consider it to be a typical reaction to typical stress.

This can be “healed at any age,” he claimed.

Those who struggle with concentration but do not exhibit impulsivity or hyperactivity, which are characteristics of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), are referred to by this phrase.

A copy of Spare, which after its debut in January became the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK since records began, was included in the cost of the event’s tickets, which were £17 plus a £2.12 fee for UK customers.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
