The APC Chieftain and founder of the For Us by Us movement, Chief Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, has called on Ikwuano Citizens to come out en masse and register for their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the 2027 election.
Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu said this through his verified social media Handle, on Friday.
Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu said that it was only through the PVCs that Ikwuano people can exercise their voting right for the candidate of their choice in 2027.
He urged citizens to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise and obtain their PVCs if they wanted a change for good government in 2027
Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu charged Ikwuano citizens not to lose hope but their PVC will produce good leadership and they will gain the full dividends of democracy.
He urged young Ikwuano citizens to participate more in the democratic process both at the local, state, and federal levels.
Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu used the occasion to call on leaders to build institutions of good governance so that the country’s democracy would stand on “sure footing” for the benefit of the future generation.
