The singer previewed her comeback single during a surprise Insta Live session

Adele has shared an excerpt from her highly anticipated new single ‘Easy on Me’ – you can listen to it below.

Earlier this week, the singer-songwriter confirmed that she would be releasing the track on Friday (October 15), her first new musical since her third album ’25’ (2015). This comes after fan and media speculations that its followup ’30’ is on the way.

Along with the release date and the title of her comeback song, Adele shared a 21-second black-and-white video featuring a piano-led instrument. Scenes see the star attach a cassette tape to a car stereo before traveling down a country street.

October 9), ahead of the song’s full release, Adele previewed the track, sharing a snippet during a surprise Instagram Live session.

“There is no gold in this river in which I have always washed my hands,“She sings in the song.”I know there’s hope in these waters but I can’t bring myself to swim when I’m drowning in silence, baby let me go…“

Elsewhere during an Insta Live, Adele opened up about her mental health, saying that she takes it on a “day-to-day basis” but thinks it’s “very good” at present.

“My mental health is very good at the moment. I take it day by day and I address whatever comes to me,” she told fans. “It definitely helps me feel better if I take my time. Writing my music… Yeah, it’s definitely been therapeutic.”

Speaking about her new album in a recent interview, Adele said it’s more personal to her than any of her previous records.

“It’s sensitive to me, this record, just how much I love it,” she said. the trend/British Vogue. “I always say ’21’ isn’t mine anymore. Everyone else took it in their hearts. I’m not going to let it go. It’s my album. I want to share myself with everyone, but I Don’t think I’ll ever let it go.
