Monday of Week 12 in Ordinary Time

BE HAPPY THAT GOD HAS CHOSEN TO BE PART OF HIS MISSION. IT IS A GREAT PRIVILEGE

Genesis 12:1-9
Psalm 32(33):12-13,18-20,22
Matthew 7:1-5

In today’s first reading (Gen 12:1-9), we witness the incredible moment when Abram receives a divine call! Imagine being told by the Lord to pack up and venture into the unknown, without any clue where you’re headed or what awaits you! Yet, Abram shows extraordinary faith. He embraces the adventure ahead, trusting that the Lord will guide him every step of the way!

Then, in our Gospel (Matt 7:1-5), Jesus sends us a powerful reminder: let’s be real and avoid hypocrisy! He encourages us to reflect: the qualities that bother us in others often reveal aspects of ourselves we need to address. So instead of passing judgment, let’s leave that to God and focus on improving ourselves!

This week is a fantastic opportunity for transformation! Let’s cultivate a spirit of kindness and love towards others. What judgments do you find creeping into your thoughts? Let’s challenge ourselves to become messengers of mercy and grace!

May God’s words inspire us all as we carry out our daily duties. Amen!

Here’s to a week filled with grace and positivity ahead!
