REACH OUT TO THE LORD WITH FAITH AND TRUST
Approaching the Lord with unwavering faith and trust empowers us to transcend the challenges that manifest in our lives. It is in Him that we discover true peace and solace.
The woman depicted in today’s gospel, who found healing from her hemorrhage, endured restlessness until her encounter with Jesus.
Similarly, the household of the official in today’s gospel was engulfed in turmoil until the visitation and subsequent healing of his daughter by Christ led them to a peace that surpasses all understanding.
To attain tranquility and harmony within our souls, we must place our unwavering trust in the Lord. He is the sole healer of our afflictions and discomforts, and the only force capable of quelling our anxieties to transform us into suitable living temples for Him.
Trust remains an imperative component of our relationship with God, representing the quintessential pathway to finding contentment in Jesus: to trust and obey.
