TRAIN US LORD, TO OBSERVE YOUR LAW

We are all familiar with the imperfections of humanity. Despite our best efforts, we are prone to making mistakes. However, according to the teachings of Jesus, achieving perfection is possible through embracing a spirit of detachment and prioritizing eternal values over fleeting worldly pursuits. As Christians, do we claim to have achieved perfection, or believe that our trials have purified us of all stubbornness?

This mindset reflects excessive pride. It is important to reflect on our past actions: the times we doubted God when He had been unwaveringly faithful, the moments we resisted His guidance, and the instances when we misinterpreted His plan and felt desolate. How many times have we chosen sin for momentary pleasure, only to find it led to lasting torment?

Acknowledging our foolishness, we must echo David’s plea for God’s mercy, trusting in His love and faithfulness to uphold His promises. Let us not forget the God who fathered us.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
