SPREAD THE GOSPEL
In today’s gospel, Jesus appointed 72 disciples and commissioned them to spread the message of the kingdom of God.
While lacking in refined oratory skills, the 72 disciples embarked on their mission with the assurance and backing of Jesus, who entrusted them with his invaluable message – the good news.
Their role was not that of erudite scholars, but rather witnesses, emphasizing actions over words. This approach made a profound impact.
Similarly, we are charged with disseminating Jesus’ message, akin to the 72 disciples, acting as witnesses whose actions and presence carry more weight than verbose arguments.
