Closer To Eternity

Life is a precious gift from God and once spent can not be reused. It is the one commodity that no one seems to have enough of; the one article we all seem to desire more and more of. And yet, life has neither spare nor duplicate copy. We live once and we die only once.

Life is a school and in it are many lessons to be learnt. And how well we do in the school of life determines how well we would spend our eternity.

Sadly, not everyone learns. Some learn and some don’t; some grow while others remain babies for life. And one major lesson we all must learn is to constantly remind ourselves that there is no eternity on this plane; our real life begins after this ends, and how we end this determines how we enter into eternity. The fool lives today as though there were no tomorrow, but the wise lives each day with eternity in view. The call to us this week is to live each and every day knowing that each new day brings us closer to eternity. Good morning and have a blessed week ahead.
