The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that it will extend the deadline for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
After a call from the Nigerian youth to extend the deadline for CVR, INEC announced on its official Twitter page that it has heard the request “loud and clear.”
INEC stated that more information on the extension will be released later and also ask Nigerians to ensure to register, pick up their PVCs and Vote.
INEC also promised Nigerians that it will play its own part in making sure their votes count.
It said, “We have heard your requests loud & clear. You will soon hear from us on extension of CVR registration.
“Please assure me that you will register, pick
your PVCs and Vote. I also assure you that your vote will count. Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.”
