The Super Falcons of Nigeria won their eleventh African Women Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after rallying from a two-goal deficit to upset the host, Morocco, 3-2.
The Super Falcons stormed back into the game in the second half, scoring three goals to defeat the home team and the host, Atlas Lionesses of Morocco, after Morocco jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first half.
The Super Falcons ultimately won their ninth championship as a result of the accomplishment.
