People frequently give up when all that is required is one additional step. We are frequently unwilling to invest little more time, energy, and resources because we have been frustrated and hurt by the failure of previous endeavors. We fear that the next thing we undertake will also fail, yet we are almost always mistaken.
Discouragement and pessimism attempt to prevent us from taking a giant stride forward. Reasons to surrender begin to flood in from all sides. But with each passing day and week, we gain new hope and strength to hold on and keep going.
Beloved, resist the urge to give up. Even if the heat or darkness are too much for you, know that it means you’re getting closer to your Miracle than when you first began.
May we all have the fortitude to persevere until the end. Amen
