Life is short. David says it’s “like a breath” and that our “days are like a fleeting shadow.”
Our lives, according to James, are “a vapor that appears for a moment and then passes away” (James 4:14).
Because life is so fleeting, make the most of the time you have to fully live for God. Don’t squander your life by settling for a meaningless objectives just to please people or pursue a goal that has no intrinsic worth.
You should pray to God to rearrange your priorities, enlighten your intellect, and strengthen your resolve.
Your life will only have value, significance, and purpose if you have a genuine relationship with God.
