Two Pedophile Cases In Imo State As 39 And 62 Years Old Men Rape 7 And 6 Years Old Minors

Okechukwu Nwanguma, a 39-year-old Nigerian Security Civil Defense Corp worker, has been remanded in the Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State for raping a seven-year-old child, by an Owerri magistrate court.

This comes up with another case, Theodore Okeke, 62, who has been detained in prison for the assault of his tenant’s six-year-old daughter in Irete, Owerri West Local Government Area of the state.

Following a petition submitted by the Imo State Committee on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls, the family court ordered the remands (ISCEVAWG).

Nwanguma, who was from Abba in the Nwangele local government region, had become friends with the minor’s ten-year-old brother, whom he had always urged to visit him with his sister.

When Nwanguma arrived at his residence, he always assigned the young boy to go buy him bread alone while he raped the sister, according to him.

The girl had urinary incontinence and was unable to hold urine. During medical exams, it was discovered that the seven-year-old girl had been raped multiple times, resulting in the problem.

The claim, which Nwanguma blamed on the devil, was not refuted by him.

Theodore Okeke, a 62-year-old landlord, had enticed his tenant’s six-year-old daughter into his flat and had taken advantage of her.

Okeke, a landlord in Imo State’s Irete, Owerri West local government area, raped his tenant’s six-year-old daughter while blaming it on the devil.

Mrs. Amara Ifeanyi, the girl’s mother, protested about the event in a petition to the Imo State Committee on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (ISCEVAWG).

When she went to work on Monday, July 26th, their landlord allegedly lured the girl out of the flat.

The 62-year-old threatened the girl (name withheld) after the rape, but she mustered bravery and confessed to her mother.

When confronted, Okeke initially denied his involvement, but then admitted and apologized, claiming the devil was to blame.

Meanwhile, investigations by the Daily Post revealed that the pedophile had abused several others within the area and threatened to murder them if they notified anyone.

While the accused men remain in detention at the Owerri Correctional Centre, the magistrate has ordered that the case file be referred to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for direction.
