Elon Musk, the richest billionaire in the world, creates news when he sells up X, formerly Twitter, for $33 billion.

Musk Mulls Charging All X Users ‘Small Monthly Payment’

Notably, Elon Musk paid $44 billion to acquire Twitter in October 2022, adding a number of new features to the platform. Elon Musk’s AI startup, xAI, made a calculated move by acquiring X in order to combine X’s sizable user base with xAI’s state-of-the-art AI capabilities.

Musk claims that by combining xAI’s AI know-how with X’s enormous user base, this integration will “unlock immense potential,” improving user experiences and promoting truth.

Furthermore, opinions on the transaction have been divided, with some citizens praising Musk’s idea and others raising worries about the potential effects of social media powered by AI.
